Broadcast journalism
An overriding theme with my university work is that of sport - an area I have deliberately focused on, knowing it is something I would like to focus on in the future. By covering various Welsh Six Nations press conferences - which in turn were turned into full packages - I have managed to build up a strong knowledge of broadcast journalism whilst at the same time enjoying the work.
Three of the packages below were selected as the 'main story' during our weekly newsdays, a sign of the effort I put into each package. As well as the sports news packages, I also helped compile a St David's Day story and a longer piece on student housing which helped me receive a 1st in television journalism in the second year of my course.
(Please not that due to exporting errors, the sound quality in certain packages has dropped)
